Cancellation policy

Some items in our store are offered as pre-orders. This policy covers how you can change or cancel those orders.

Pre-orders

When you place a pre-order you are buying a book that has not been printed yet, or has not yet reached us. [We charge the full amount at checkout.] Your order ships when the book is released, and the expected release date is listed on the product page.

You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it ships, for a full refund. Contact us through our contact page and we will take care of it.

If a release date moves

Special editions involve print runs, custom finishing and shipping across an ocean, and dates sometimes slip. If the release date for something you pre-ordered changes, we will email you with the new one. If that date does not work for you, you can cancel for a full refund, no questions asked.

If we cannot fulfill your pre-order

Special editions are produced in limited quantities. In the unlikely event that we cannot fill your pre-order, we will contact you and refund you in full.

Once your pre-order ships

It becomes an ordinary order, and our return policy applies from the day it arrives.
